G;PBA;Once you are a registered consultant, how long will it take to be matched with a client?
Matching is always dependent on client needs, but with our business model, consultants can be placed in as little as a day.
As a registered GCES GLOBAL consultant, can I be employed elsewhere?
Yes. Your obligations to GCES GLOBAL apply only when you are working an engagement through GCES GLOBAL.
Do GCES GLOBAL consulting opportunities lead to full time employment?
Yes, they can. A key facet of our business model is to allow both our clients and consultants to "try before they buy." Working on a short term project is a great way for both parties to determine if they are a fit for full time employment. In many cases, our clients offer full time positions to our consultants.
Are consultants considered GCES GLOBAL employees?
No, they are independent consultants. Once professionals are registered with GCES GLOBAL and sign our non-binding agreement, they are matched with clients in need of their skills. Then client and consultant negotiate fees and the length of the particular project.
As a Civil Servant in the government, can I be a GCES GLOBAL Consultant?
Yes, if your consultant activity does not conflict with your Civil Service position and is cleared by your legal department.
How do GCES GLOBAL Consultants handle taxes on their income?
As an independent consultant, you are responsible for filing and paying your own federal and state taxes, including estimated tax payments. GCES GLOBAL will provide you with a 1099 form at the end of the tax year.
May I register all of my companies with GCES?
Yes. We will work with you to establish the best way to account for engagements and billing among your companies.
